Scriptwriting 2020
Due to the on-going Coronavirus situation all productions from Imagine Theatre including the four written by Eric and "Aladdin" at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock which he should have been directing have now been postponed until the 2021 season. Eric can't wait to get back working with the Imagine team in the New Year and helping to create a bigger, better and thoroughly fabulous Panto season.
Best-known for his role as Coronation Street’s eccentric baker Diggory Compton, Eric Potts stars as Dame Nora Crumble - and will have you laughing your Christmas socks off.
Eric has appeared in and written numerous pantomimes over the last two decades, bringing his unique brand of comedy and showmanship, in an array of outrageous costumes much to audiences' delight.
The real star of the pantomime though is Eric Potts, who plays Widow Twankey – who is also the director and script writer. Potts’ is a naturally funny Dame who without much apparent effort can reduce an audience to hysterical laughter. His dazzling and hilarious version of Hello Dolly is a real comic tour-de-force and steals the show.
Most lovable perhaps was that of One-Round, played perfectly by Eric Potts, who constantly hasn't a clue what's going (or even what his fake name is) but is the most decent and kind of all the gang. I look forward to seeing the actor in two more productions at TBTL this year.
Les was brilliantly played by Eric Potts, who captured the hilarious sides of Ada, along with wig, hip flask and heaving bosom.
